1. Is there a product warranty, what if I damage the watch?

- The watch has a 1-year warranty, all damaged parts of the watch can be replaced with new ones if necessary;

2. How long does the battery last, does it wear out and can it be replaced?

- The watch has a battery with a capacity of 250 mah, which retains its capacity for 800-900 charge-discharge cycles. Replacement of the battery is possible by request;

3. How is the watch packaged and what is included?

- Original box, watch, strap, charging cable, instructions;

4. What is the resource of indicators?

- The resource is very large, tens of thousands of hours of continuous burning;

5. What is better, sapphire glass or mineral glass?

- Sapphire glass is the best option because it is stronger and resistant to scratches;

6. Is the watch waterproof?

- Some models are splash protected, so you can wash your hands, use the watch in the rain and put it in the water for a short time;

7. How much does the watch weigh?

- Very light without a strap, the watch weight is 50g;

8. How fast does the watch charge?

- From 0% to 80% in 30 minutes, full charge to 100% in about 60-120 minutes;

9. What indicators are installed in the watch?

- Geniue Nixie/VFD/Numitron, manufactured in the 1970s, are installed;

- Geniue retro LED indicators, manufactured in the 1980s, are installed;

10. Will it be possible to buy watch accessories in the future?

- Yes, it is possible to buy charging cables, straps and parts by request;

11. Can I install my own watch strap?

- Yes, you can replace the strap with any other strap with a width of 22-24 mm. Fastening is standard pogo pin;

12. How to set the watch time?

- The kit includes a detailed manual on how to do it, you can view manuals HERE;

13. What functions does the watch support?

- Time, date, year, battery, time format, stroke correction, stopwatch, timer, animations, backlight, sleep - depending on model;

14. Can I adjust the accuracy of the clock?

- Yes, the corresponding menu is in the settings

15. Can I change the clock time format?

- Yes, there's a corresponding menu in the watch settings: 12- or 24-hour, depending on the model. For some models, the time format can only be selected when ordering.

16. What can be used to charge the watch?

- Computer, laptop, power bank or charger ONLY 5V 1-2A, fast chargers 9-12V NOT acceptable and can damage the watch;

If you burnt your watch due to using the wrong charger, such repairs are not covered by the warranty and will be paid for.

17. What material is the watch made of?

- High-quality aluminum alloy H2024 CNC Milled or Plastic;

18. How does the watch display the time?

- By button pressing like a retro watches or by motion sensor;

- depending on model;

19. Can I turn off the backlight and leave only the indicator lights on?

- The backlight off function is available only in the model with retro LED indicators. If you want a NIXIE/NUMITRON/VFD version without backlight, please contact us and we will make a watch without backlight for you;

20. My magnetic charging cable melted, what should I do?

- Magnetic cables tend to metal, which conducts electricity. Therefore, if your charger does not have short-circuit protection, the cable will melt. You can buy a new cable from our store, but it is better not to use chargers without protection, as this is unsafe.

21. I broke my watch, can I get it repaired?

- Yes, please contact info@nixoid.store with a repair request. For repairs, the watch must be sent back to the specified address.

22. I received a watch with a motion sensor, turned it on with a magnet, but it doesn’t respond well to movements and turns on about 1 time out of 10, Is this a defect?

- No, this isn't a defect; you're using the wrong hand gesture. Every watch is tested before shipping, and the motion sensor's operation is recorded on video. To ensure the motion sensor works 10 out of 10 times, you need to tilt the watch correctly and maintain the correct tilt speed. Practice to understand how to do this correctly to achieve the best results.

23. How often should I charge my watch?

- You can charge your watch whenever it's convenient for you. Using the watch, you'll see the battery life limits. Some models display the battery charge as a percentage, while others display the battery charge by changing the backlight color.

24. I bought NIXOID Next but I don't understand how to see the battery level

- This model displays the battery level by changing the color of the backlight. At 100% charge, the backlight has a blue-green tint; at 0%, it is green. Use the watch through several cycles to see the difference between the backlight colors.

25. You have a lot of lamps, how long will you sell the watches?

- There are low quantity of tubes left, some are already sold out forever, they were produced a very long time ago and nothing lasts forever, so there won’t be much time left until the end of sales.

26. I want to order a custom engraving on a watch. How do I do this?

- Add this item to your cart along with the watch, after placing your order, write to info@nixoid.store with information about engraving, you need to provide either text or a black and white image of the logo you want to apply

27. What does the time format 12 or 24 mean?

• 12-Hour Format: Divides the day into two 12-hour periods—A.M. (morning/before noon) and P.M. (afternoon/evening). It resets at 12:00.
• 24-Hour Format: Counts all 24 hours continuously from 00:00 (midnight) to 23:59 (just before midnight) without needing A.M. or P.M. indicators

28. What does Accelerometer mean?

• With an accelerometer, the watch can display the time either by pressing a button or by making a hand gesture.
• Without an accelerometer, the watch can display the time only by pressing a button.

29. Is the battery life different between watches with and without an accelerometer?

- Watches with an accelerometer consume more power in sleep mode because they track movements, so battery life varies. Battery life also varies greatly depending on usage. 

• Watches with an accelerometer last 5-10 days on a single charge and up to 25-30 days in standby mode.
• Watches without an accelerometer (you can only view the time by button) last up to 20-25 days of usage and about 40 days in standby mode.
